Avenida da Liberdade - Freedom to explore all that is beautiful
Lisbon's prime avenue Avenida da Liberdade or "The Avenue of Freedom" was originally modelled on 19th Century Champs Elysées, but it has its own distinct personality and style. Acacias and palm trees line the broad monochrome pavements that run from Restauradores to Marquês de Pombal. It is central Lisbon’s main commercial artery with an ever-increasing roster of leading fashion houses, hotels, restaurants and social clubs.
